Tam O'Shanter Beach estate

Tam O'Shanter Beach Estate is part of a dream coming true - a seaside village blending relaxed living with a natural coastal landscape.

There are already 50 established houses, many are hidden by natural vegetation. The first 9 green/18 hole links course is now the established Tam O'Shanter Golf Club.

Gently curving roads encourage slower drivers. Private shaded walkways lead to the foreshore and all around the village. High and dry blocks of land provide for north facing views of Bass Strait.

The foreshore of Tam O'Shanter Bay has a wide sandy beach, while One Tree Point features interesting rock pools. East from the point are the boat ramp and several small sandy beaches. The night sky is so clear as to create an astronomers delight.

History

Since the 1970's the roads - Fairway Avenue, Bush Haven Drive, Seascape Drive, Ninth Island Crescent and Boobyalla Rise - and adjoining blocks have been developed and sold. Now many of the blocks have houses on them, more than 50 so far. See the residents page for information.
